Pest Management Professional
Spring-Green is in need of a full-time, year-round Pest Management Professional based out of our Plainfield, IL location.
Our Pest Control Technicians earn $20- $25 per hour, plus production commission for work completed.

Job Summary:
Responsible for identifying, selecting, mixing, and applying products or manual solutions to eliminate pests. Applies appropriate solutions, including chemical or trap solutions and removes live and/or dead rodents. All of these services are designed to protect and maintain a pest/rodent free environment for residential and commercial customers. Pest Control Professionals are expected to work independently to complete daily route assignments while providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicates and follows up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Completes required documentation and paperwork to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and government regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Structural Pest Control license for Illinois
- Must possess valid IL Drivers’ License with good driving record.
- Ability to follow driving directions and familiarity with assigned service area a plus.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as required
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to read and recall regulations and procedures.
- Ability to take direction and work independently to ensure production is completed and customers are satisfied.
- Must be punctual, professional, and detail oriented.
- Willingness to work with insecticides and make applications in a manner consistent with applicable federal, local, and product guidelines.
- Must be able to occasionally utilize ladders to access attics, eaves, gutters, and other areas of potential pest harborage or concern.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trained and experienced in IPM (Integrated Pest Management) preferred
- Must have a least one year of experience as a Pest Control Professional
- Knowledge of state and federal chemical application regulations, as well as policies and techniques
