Spring-Green is in need of a full-time, year-round Pest Control Service Professional based out of our Plainfield, IL location.  

Our Pest Control Technicians earn $20- $25 per hour, plus production commission for work completed.  We pay weekly! We offer a $1000 sign-on bonus for licensed Pesticide operators/applicators new to our organization.

Job Summary:

The Pest Control Professional will be responsible for providing timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of customers. 

  • Communicating and following-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Identifying potential pest problems and implementing conscientious integrated pest management strategies.
  • Completing required documentation and paperwork to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and government regulations.

 Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must possess valid WI Drivers’ License with good driving record.
  • Ability to follow driving directions and familiarity with assigned service area a plus.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday and Saturday as required
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to read and recall regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently to ensure production is completed and customers are satisfied. 
  • Must be punctual, professional, and detail oriented.
  • Willingness to work with insecticides and make applications in a manner consistent with applicable federal, local, and product guidelines.
  • Must be able to occasionally utilize ladders to access attics, eaves, gutters, and other areas of potential pest harborage or concern.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trained and experienced in IPM (Integrated Pest Management) preferred
  • Must have a least one year of experience as a Pest Control Professional 
  • Knowledge of state and federal chemical application regulations, as well as policies and techniques
