Spring-Green is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join its Contact Center team as an Inside Sales Representative for Pest Control.  The Inside National Pest Control Sales Representative is a full-time support position located in Plainfield, IL.  

This is a hybrid onsite / remote position requiring onsite attendance approximately 40% of the time (2 days per week) and home office / remote attendance approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week). It has a beginning hourly wage of $18-$20 plus commission, with expected first year earnings between $45K - $60K.

This position is under the direction of the Contact Center Sales Manager and performs inbound/outbound call center and pest control sales and customer service functions for company and independently owned franchise operations. It is primarily a telephone-based position, focusing on handling inbound pest control inquiries via telephone and managing interest and follow up through outbound telephone calls.

Day to day:
  • Fielding inbound pest control sales calls on behalf of Spring Green operations throughout the United States in the interest of motivating them to become Spring Green pest control customers.
  • Efficiently managing a high volume of pest control leads coming in from many different sources, many of which will require outbound phone call follow-ups.
  • Executing pre-determined, targeted outbound pest control sales initiatives and campaigns.  
  • Explaining Spring Green’s pest control service offerings and highlighting the value and benefits of becoming a Spring Green pest control customer.
  • Answering pest control sales and/or service-related questions.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some college course work in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or related subject matter preferred. 
  • Must have a minimum of two to three years of inside or outside sales experience, preferably in a service-related industry.
  • Although priority will be given to candidates with pest control sales and/or service experience, prior pest control experience is not required.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated with a willingness and ability to learn quickly and have a pleasant telephone demeanor.   
  • Basic computer skills are required, with a minimum typing proficiency of 45 WPM.
