Spring-Green is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join our Contact Center team as a Contact Center Sales Professional for Lawn Care. The Contact Center Sales Professional is a full-time support position located in Plainfield, IL.
This is a hybrid onsite / remote position requiring onsite attendance approximately 40% of the time (2 days per week) and home office / remote attendance approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week). It has a beginning hourly wage of $18 plus commission incentives.

This position is under the direction of the Contact Center Sales Manager and performs inbound/outbound call center and Lawn Care sales and customer service functions for company and independently owned franchise operations. It is primarily a telephone-based position, focusing on handling inbound lawn care inquiries via telephone and managing interest and follow up through outbound telephone calls.
Day to day:
- Fielding and converting inbound lawn care sales calls on behalf of Spring Green operations throughout the United States in the interest of motivating leads & prospects to become Spring Green customers.
- Efficiently managing a high volume of leads coming in from many different sources, many of which will require outbound phone call follow-ups.
- Driving customer account growth and diversification across Spring Green Lawn, Pest Control and Tree services.
- Executing pre-determined, targeted outbound sales initiatives and upsell campaigns.
- Explaining Spring Green’s lawn care service offerings and highlighting the value and benefits of becoming a Spring Green customer.
- Perform and document property measurements for company owned and independently owned locations.
- Delivery of an exceptional customer experience through all customer interactions and touchpoints.
- Answering lawn care sales and/or service-related questions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some college course work in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or related subject matter preferred.
- Must have a minimum of one to three years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a service-related industry.
- Although priority will be given to candidates with sales and related experience, prior sales experience is not required.
- Candidates should be self-motivated with a willingness and ability to learn quickly and have a pleasant telephone demeanor.
- Basic computer skills are required, with a minimum typing proficiency of 45 WPM.
